I got started quickly today with some changes to a Baresca menu, I was sent these sketches to show me how to make the changes

This was a fun task to complete,
I had to use a lot of InDesign which I'm not too familiar with but it helped me learn a lot more about text boxes in the programme.

After completing the Baresca menu, I began work for a new client, this was Challenge TRG, I was tasked with creating icons/stacked text which would be used in promotional infographics, I have already produced a number of icons for Stencil so I was very familiar with the process of this. Below are the icons I created.

Today I was again working with the Baresca menu but this time creating a word template for the restaurant to use to print their own daily specials. I hadn't done anything like this before but after being talked through the process I was much more confident creating this.

It kind of looks like a grid over the top of the menu but it allows for all of the text boxes to be edited by the restaurant which helps them cut printing costs as they can use their in-house printer to change any items on the menu.
I was also happy to see my cocktail illustration being used on this menu.

Today I worked on a couple of different smaller projects, the first of which was to remake these icons in illustrator, this was to achieve consistency through the icons in terms of line weight.

As you can imagine this was an easy task but was also quite relaxing to work through.
Next was to create a set of icons for NFM, this was another new client I would be working on and another set of icons to make, these were a bit more trickier than the previous but I am very happy with how they turned out. These all had to follow a set 'style' using a green gradient and outline,

I continued with the icons I began making yesterday, these were a new set of 'files; and question marks.

After completing these and exporting all of the icons to the desired sizes and file types, I went back to working on the Flooid animation.
The scene was showing a group of icons and some text in the middle, the icons were supplied by the client and unfortunately needed a lot of cleaning up before being used - see below

Here are some of the different layouts I presented for this scene

This was quite an interesting week with a lot of new projects and clients, it was a refreshing experience and I was surprised to be supported through it as much as I was, especially in the Word template part as I had never done this before,
I am really comfortable here at Stencil and feel like I have a good workflow and that I fit in quite well here.
