I started today with a new interesting client, the project was to look creating a '50th Anniversary' brochure for Oakham School - a prestigious private/boarding school in the midlands. First I was given a bunch of material that had already been produced for Oakham and asked to look into it, we did not yet have the contents of the brochure so no real work could start yet,

To fill the time I was given a challenge by one of my managers to remake one of the already published spreads in InDesign (to improve my InDesign skills as I do not regularly use it), he talked me through different tricks I can do in the programme and made sure I understood everything before moving on, below is the redesigned page I created;

For the rest of the week I worked on Flooid making some more client changes, I really enjoy working on the Flooid project so I was more than happy to just crack on with this work.

I first had to recolour a few already made illustrations to fit in with a pre-existing set, then I had to illustrate a hand holding a phone as well as a new UI element for the animation.

Next was to fix one of my older illustrations arm to be more dynamic.

And finally was to create an arrangement of icons on top another illustration.

Alot of this week was Flooid stuff as the client deadline was approaching but I didn't mind, I really enjoy working of illustrations in Illustrator.
