Last week I was away from placement due to getting Covid, I am now much better and due to this setback, I have extended my time at Stencil by a week.
This week was a bit all over the place due to me having to work remotely due to still testing positive for covid, thus, this week's blog post will not be split up by date but instead just what I worked on throughout the week.
Charlie & Daisy
Through this week I have continued work on the Charlie+Daisy brief being able to get constant feedback as I went along. It was a little slow paced this week due to me recovering and various important going-ons inside the company, so I was able to take my time and produce some really good work.

I've been able to reflect on my experience so far at Stencil over the past week and I am happy to say that I really am enjoying it!
I love being in the office itself, I get so inspired when I am in the office and I do believe that if I wasn't in the studio or was working from home, I wouldn't have made half of the things I have. Like illustrating in illustrator for example, I've tried to do it hundreds of time but could never get it right, and then I get assigned to make some scenes for Flooid and it just sticks, same goes with indesign. I have honestly learned more about these programmes in the 3/4 weeks I have been at Stencil than I have at Uni.
I've also kind of fallen in love with Nottingham, which I really didn't expect, by my second week here I didn't want to go home, it's just so refreshing to me, I love being able to walk to work everyday.
My time here has been so valuable already, I feel so much more confident in myself and I look forward to going into work everyday.
